Not a long time from now, when the political face of the country was experiencing a change, India’s ranking in ease of doing business went down a few more points. In May 2014, India was ranked 134 of 189 countries in the ‘ease of doing business’ survey conducted by the World Bank.

In an attempt to make India a better destination for business investments, the government has taken measures concerning registration, tax systems, and permit requirements to attract more companies in the country.

Promoting the Make in India initiative, in an attempt to encourage companies to start-up in India, the government is now working on cutting down registration period for companies from 25 days to one day.

Also, a raft of measures like reduction in number of permits required, ease in property registration, quick electricity connection, are among a few measures that are expected to make the country a friendlier investment destination.

The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) has been made the nodal agency for approaching these procedural reforms. The DIPP has also set a time period of 3-6 months for implementing the changes in the system. The department has also requested all ministers to come on board and work to reform the regulatory structure and mend the business climate in India.

One of the major focus areas are reforms of the tax system. It has been recommended that the amount of taxes be reduced and online payment of taxes permitted. There is a concrete emphasis to expeditiously implement the Direct Tax Code (DTC) and Goods and Service Tax (GST). The DIPP has also set individual time frames for individual departments to bring about the changes.

Instructions for online filing Make in India Company Registration

A foreigner can apply online from our website for availing of visa services in the office of Foreigners Regional Registration Office

(FRRO), Delhi. The following process shall be followed:

  1. Candidate shall select the online registration option from the main menu. As the option will be chosen, the online application form will be displayed automatically.
  2. It is required to fill the online registration form and schedule his/her meeting in the FRRO before his/her visit. Once the application is filed and submitted, a unique registration number is generated by the system.
  3. It is recommended to keep the registration as the same number can be used for any modification in the details submitted online and during his/her visit at the FRRO.
  4. Once the appointment is scheduled successfully, a pdf file (filled application) shall be generated by the system. Candidate is required to take the print out of the application and the requisite supporting documents for interview at the registration office.

Process for online application for foreigner registration

  1. Candidates are requested to go through the regulations and instructions mentioned above in the order to ascertain their eligibility and procedures involved in the process.
  2. Candidates who are requisite to register at FRRO shall have to fill their application online using the web based online application submission system. Those who have not filed online applications previously before coming to FRRO shall be allowed to fill the online application form at the FRRO. The officials present at the FRRO shall assist and support either to fill at the convenience of applicant or assist them at the FRRO. Candidates who have not taken prior appointment shall also be permitted to register at the FRRO.
  3. Candidates may access the facility of online registration at the FRRO from the abovementioned website. Aspirant has to select the option of online registration from the main menu. As soon as the he clicks the option of online registration, the application shall be displayed automatically wherein the candidate shall fill the details like:
  • Personal Details
  • Nationality (both previous and present)
  • Persons accompanying the applicant
  • Contact address and number in India
  • Contact person in case of any emergency
  1. Once the form has been filed completely, the applicant shall submit the application form and move to the next page from the option given in the form for scheduling appointment at the concerned FRRO.
  2. As soon as the application form is filed and appointment is scheduled by the applicant, unique application ID is generated which can be used by the applicant during his visit to the concerned FRRO on the listed date. A Pdf. file of applicant form will be generated by the system after the submission of form to the FRRO. Candidates are requested to take the print of the pdf file.
  3. On the scheduled date, the applicant shall visit the FRRO/FRO to meet the registration officials along with the print of the pdf file and the requisite supporting documents. Candidates shall have to make the supporting documents to the FRRO officer to verify with the data already available in the case file.
  4. Once the registration is approved then the applicant shall be provided a registration booklet as a registration proof by the registration officials.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR PRIVATE LIMITED COMPANY REGISTRATION IN BENGALURU

Only the below mentioned documents are required for private limited company registration. Nothing more. Nothing less.

PAN CARD (compulsory)

Your PAN Card is compulsory for becoming a Director in a private limited company. If you don’t have one, then apply before starting the private limited registration process.

Aadhar Card (Not Compulsory)

While Aadhaar Card is not compulsory for new private limited registration, it is good to have one. We need Aadhar number linked to your mobile number so that we can generate your Digital Signature (DSC) in minutes.

Any 1 Identity Proof

For each Director, you need to share any one identity proof in their name which can be Passport or Voter Card or Driving License or any other ID proof for private limited registration.

Any 1 Address Proof

For each Director, you need to share any one address proof in their name which can be either Bank Statement or Gas bill or Water bill or Electricity bill or Telephone bill. Address proof should not be more than 2 months old.  Aadhaar is not a valid address proof. (Note – bank passbook is not valid)

Proposed Office Address Proof

The most important document is Address Proof for proposed office address which can be Electricity Bill, Water Bill, Gas bill, Telephone bill or any other utility bill. This bill can be in anyone’s name. This bill needs to be less than 2 months old. The electricity bill can also be of home address or in father name.
